I stopped setting the alarm early
I have been straightening my hair before work for about fifteen years. Two weeks of this and I have not touched the iron once. The waves are softer than what the iron gave me and my ends already look less ragged.
Nothing to plug in and no technique to learn. Watch it once and you have it.
Rest the satin rod over your head like a band and clip it at the crown. Hair behaves best at about 80% dry.
Split your hair in two and wind each side down its own end of the rod. A scrunchie holds each one in place.
Satin against your hair all night, so nothing pulls and nothing creases. Add the bonnet if you move around a lot.
Unwind it, shake it out with your fingers and go. The waves hold for two to three days.

Honestly, I had my doubts about trying this — and it completely won me over. The waves came out far better than the ones I get with my straightener. So relieved to have finally found a way to stop wrecking my hair! Genuinely really happy with it :)

Used it on 80% damp hair like the guide says and slept perfectly — you barely notice it. In the morning I let it down and couldn't believe it: super defined, shiny waves without a drop of heat. Two weeks in and my hair genuinely feels healthier. The free bonnet is a lovely touch.

I'd sat through about ten videos before this arrived and still wasn't confident I'd get it right. Then I opened the box and there's a little card with six drawings on it — spray, clip, wrap away from your face, cross the ends, tie, sleep. I propped it against my lamp and followed it like a recipe.
Got it right first go. There's a QR code on the back for a video as well, but I never ended up needing it. By the third night I wasn't looking at the card at all.

My hair is coloured and the ends were wrecked from years of straightening. This gives me the same curl as the wand without frying my hair. The satin really does make a difference: zero frizz when I wake up.
Tip: on very straight hair, a bit of mousse before wrapping makes it last twice as long.

Being fair: the first night my curls came out odd because I wrapped the ends wrong. By night three I had it done in 5 minutes and the result is gorgeous. If your hair is shoulder-length like mine, wrap thinner sections.
For the price and seeing how it turned out, I'd recommend it. Just be patient the first couple of nights.

Small detail that changed everything for me: step two says wrap away from your face, and the tighter you wrap the tighter the curl. I'd been going towards my face the first two nights and wondering why the front fell flat by breakfast.
Read the card properly, wrapped it the other way, and it was a completely different result. Keep the card in the pouch with the kit — you'll want it for the first week.

Pack of 3 for my mum, my sister and me. Arrived in two days, each kit in its own pouch. Mum has fine hair and it gives her volume nothing else could. I use mine with the free bonnet and the curl lasts into day three. Unbeatable value.

Every morning, the same trade: 200 °C against your hair, half an hour at the mirror, and a blow-dry that's gone by the time you get home.
The curls were never the problem. The heat is. Take the heat out and your hair stops paying for your hairstyle.
The same result as a curling wand — without burning your hair or losing your morning to the mirror.
| Lunelle Kit | Curling wand | Classic rollers | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Heat | Zero heat | 180–220 °C | Depends on model |
| Active time | 5 min before bed | 30–45 min at the mirror | 20+ min to set |
| Sleeping in it | Padded satin, comfy | Not possible | Hard and uncomfortable |
| Curl lifespan | 2–3 days | Hours | 1 day |
| Heat damage | None — there is no heat | High (split ends) | Medium (pulling) |
Four things you cannot see in a photograph, and the reason the same five minutes gives a different result.
Cotton grips. It drags on the cuticle every time you turn over, and that drag is where frizz and breakage start. Every surface here that touches your hair is satin — the rod, the scrunchies, the bonnet — so the hair slides instead of catching.
The rod is filled end to end in one piece rather than in packed sections, so it stays evenly soft along its whole length. Nothing bunches, nothing leaves a gap, and the shape you wrap your hair around tonight is the same shape in three months.
Every rod is cut to the same length and the same thickness, kit after kit. It matters more than it sounds: the size of the wave is set by the width you wrap your hair around, so a rod that drifts gives you a different result from one night to the next.
Satin frays if you look at it wrong. Every seam on the rod, the scrunchies and the bonnet is closed and finished, so there is no raw edge to catch on your hair, and nothing comes apart the first time you wash it.
Defined curls without irons or wands. Healthier hair, night after night.
Gentle on the hair fibre: no frizz, no creases, no pulling when you take it off.
Put it on in 5 minutes, sleep comfortably, wake up with salon waves.
Straight, wavy or curly, fine or thick, coloured or natural. The rod is long enough for anything from shoulder-length down.
Wrap your hair around the satin headband, secure it with the scrunchies and go to sleep. No heat. No effort. No early alarm.
In the morning, unwrap and done: soft, voluminous waves that last 2–3 days. Monday finally plays on your side.
Wear it overnight, through your morning routine or on the way somewhere. It works out the same.

Yes: straight, wavy, curly or coloured. All you need is shoulder-length hair so each section wraps around the rod at least one full turn. On very straight hair we recommend a little mousse or sea-salt spray before wrapping so the curl lasts longer.
The sweet spot is 70–80% dry (towel-dried or air-dried for a while). Soaking wet won't dry overnight; fully dry, the curl won't hold as long. On dry hair, a light spritz of water before wrapping does the trick.
Yes. The rod is light, flexible memory foam: it moulds to the pillow in any position. Most customers say they stop noticing it within minutes. If you're a restless sleeper, the free satin bonnet keeps everything in place.
Between 2 and 3 days depending on your hair type. To make them last: sleep in the satin bonnet the following nights and refresh with a light mist of hairspray in the morning. On porous or naturally curly hair, the definition lasts even longer.
The first few times, about 10 minutes. With practice, 5: clip the headband at your crown, wrap a section on each side and secure with the scrunchies. The included illustrated guide shows it step by step.
Hand wash in lukewarm water with a gentle soap, then air dry flat. No tumble drying or ironing: the satin stays silky for years if you care for it this way.
Every kit contains 1 × satin curling headband, 2 × satin scrunchies, 1 × butterfly clip, 1 × illustrated how-to guide and 1 × organza travel pouch — plus a free satin sleep bonnet in the same colour. If you order the 2 or 3-kit bundle you get that full set, bonnet included, for each kit.

The Lunelle Heatless Curling Kit starts from a simple idea: beautiful curls shouldn't cost you your hair. Straighteners, wands, 200-degree heat… Done with that.
The flexible satin-wrapped headband holds your hair while you sleep. Satin cuts friction — no frizz, no creases — and the rod's shape sets even waves from root to tip.
The result: voluminous waves that last 2–3 days, from 5 minutes of actual effort. And with the free satin bonnet, your style survives night two as well.
Made for anyone who wants salon hair without paying the heat tax: coloured hair, fine hair, natural curls that want definition, or simply rushed mornings.
